This week, we worked on panning, motion blur, and light painting. Panning is when you pan your camara along in time with the moving subject, ending up with a clear object but a blurred background. This gives the images of movement and speed. Motion blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly objects in a still image. As a result of the subjects changing during the recording, either because of rapid movement or longe exposure. Light painting is a technique in whice exposures are made by moving a light source while taking a long exposure photograph. This is to illuminate a subject. The techinque that worked best for me was the motion blur because I felt it was the most simple of the three techinques. The hardest was the panning techinque because it was really hard to focus on a fast moving object and getting everything else to blur. Light painting was the most fun because it was really cool to see all the different ways you could play with light.
I really like your light painting photos and how they give off a glow, escpecially your 2nd one. My only suggestion is to add more color to your blur photos in order to also mix more colors.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you edited some of the motion blurs, it makes them more unique
ReplyDeleteI love your first picture, I think your strongest images consisted of the motion blur. I also liked how you mirrored some of your pictures creating nice symmetry. Fantastic Job Lakpa!!!
