Composition 2

Leading lines are lines in the image that lead your eye to another part of the picture. Anything that has a definite line can be considered a leading line.





Depth staging involves placing on focus of the image very close, and the other focus far away. This emphasizes varying chararistics of the photo.




Repetition is way to grab the attention of the observer into your image. Repeating a shape in your photo can say alot about your image.

    I think you followed each rule to the tee. each section was really good and I just think you did an amazing job. i dont think you could improve on any of the sections. Great job!

    I think you successfully completed the assignment, and your photos are really good. The only feedback I have for you is for you to have a higher angle in your repetition photos, so you can see more of the repetition.

    I really enjoyed your photos from your leading lines composition. I love how your first photo has a different angle, in which you are more ground level. I think for your fourth picture in the leading lines composition, you could have brightened the photo the tiniest bit to accentuate the line a little more. Overall, great work.

    Your photos are very polished and interesting! You did a really good job of using the black and white filter to your advantage. My only critique is that your third and fourth pictures of depth staging could be mistaken for repetition because of the way you repeat people multiple times. Otherwise, you did a really good job!

    I think all you photos are interesting and clean. I think the photos you took regarding reputation were really cool. The way you angled the camera captured some really cool images that achieved your goal.

In this new draft, I realized that Jasper James' City Silhouettes were a bit brighter than what I had made them and that the photos of the people were all different sizes. Some of them were zoomed in while others were farther way. I started with the city as the background but I only edited it after I combined it with the picture of the person. This way, it allowed me to see how much the background need to brighten to make the picture of the perosn stand out more.

Fall Series Final #4

In my last draft, I really got into the candid photos of my people. I think they really brought the photo together. As before, I used the city image as the background but I only edited it after I combined it with the picture of the person. This way, it allowed me to see how much the background need to be brightened to make the picture of the person stand out more. In these photos I really wanted to make sure that it wasn't just the person being seen, but there was some notice of the background. However I wanted the main focus to be the models and I think that the bright colors that my model were wearing allowed them to stand out of the photo allowed most of the focus go to the model.

Design Cover

I think this week was one of the most difficult assignments so far. It took me a really long time for me to find covers that I could make. Not only that, it was also a really hard to find the right fonts and images to replicate covers so they looked very similar. This project was very time consuming but it was really fun to do.
