This week, we worked on panning, motion blur, and light painting. Panning is when you pan your camara along in time with the moving subject, ending up with a clear object but a blurred background. This gives the images of movement and speed. Motion blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly objects in a still image. As a result of the subjects changing during the recording, either because of rapid movement or longe exposure. Light painting is a technique in whice exposures are made by moving a light source while taking a long exposure photograph. This is to illuminate a subject. The techinque that worked best for me was the motion blur because I felt it was the most simple of the three techinques. The hardest was the panning techinque because it was really hard to focus on a fast moving object and getting everything else to blur.
